Paper Succulent and Flower Frame

Don't have a green thumb?
No problem!

DCWV has you covered with their new DIY Project Stacks! I used both Paper Plants and Rolled Flowers Stacks for my Succulent and Flower Frame Decor.

They make it so easy, by providing you templates in the back of the stack. All you do is punch those out, trace on the paper that you choose, cut, and put together!

I cut a few butterflies and bird out of the darling Birds & Butterflies Stack and added them to my frame also.

What do you think? Any fun projects you are going to make with these amazing DCWV Stacks?

Fish Layout

Fish Layout

Starring:
Tayvin and his 2 'glow in black light' neon fish

Supported by:
DCWV products, and a bunch of fun techniques!

Want to recreate this layout with your favorite images?
Grab the following supplies:

White Cardstock
Gel Medium
Pallet Knife
Stencil
Wax Paper
Distress Inks
Chipboard Letters
Bakers Twine
Transparent Bubble Dots
Double Sided Tape
Spray Bottle with Water

Find this incredible blue sheet from The Birthday Wishes Stack.
Tint some gel medium with the Light Blue Folk Art Paint.
Use a pallet knife to randomly spread the gel medium over your stencil of choice, onto the paper. Make sure it's in areas that will be visible after you layer your images on.

Pull some distress inks, in colors of your choosing.

On a sheet of wax paper, apply some distress ink in a pattern you like.
Spritz the ink with water.

Flip the wax paper over, quickly and carefully, onto a page of white cardstock. You can use your finger to smear the color around if needed. Take the wax paper off carefully, and throw away. Be careful not to let the ink drip.
While the page is wet, carefully tear out a circle shape.
Set aside to dry

Find this dot page in the DIY Birthday Stack from DCWV. Turn it over and draw a circle. With your finger and some water, trace the circle continually, until the paper is saturated.
Carefully tear the circle.

Your circle does not have to be perfectly round.

Print out 5 images. Both square and rectangle shapes and various sizes.
Mat them with a green sheet from the DIY Birthday Stack, using double sided tape.
In the DIY Banner stack, you will find some pre-printed mini banner flags. Cut out as many as you need. Punch some holes in the corners and string some Bakers Twine through them. Add your chipboard letters.

Start to secure the water color and dot paper to the layout. Add the images and make sure they are secured.
Using double sided tape, secure the banner in the lower right area of the layout. Then stick some cute transparent bubble stickers in the top left corner.

Here is the finished layout!

I would love to see your interpretation of this layout! You can post your images to my Jeri Vann Creations Facebook page, or tag me in your photo on Instagram!

DCWV Stateside - Utah State Pallet Wood Sign

New products from DCWV?
Yes, please!!

A hot ongoing trend is a bit of State-Love. Everyone loves to show a little State pride, and now DCWV has designed a full line of State themed products, called Stateside.

Yes, I live in California, but Utah is where I am from.
.... and yes making a Utah shape is quite a bit easier than making a California shape. My incredible husband rushed to cut me some reclaimed pallet wood when I text him the other day. He was also sweet enough to glue it together so it was ready for me when I got home from work, to craft with.

I gave it a quick stain spray and it was ready to add these cute heart prints from the DCWV Stateside 12x12 Stack.
I placed them over the general area of our hometown, but you get the point!

This cute little State decor matched perfectly with our reclaimed pallet/chicken wire frame, metal V, and some plants.

Confetti Card

Confetti Card

I have been spoiled this month with some incredibly amazing new DCWV products. You won't want to miss them! Many new paper stacks with unique prints, home decor DIY items, fun new shaped mini paper stacks and even storage boxes.

I love the new Confetti Stack! Not only does it have darling paper sheets, it has velum punch outs to make little boxes, tag shapes you can cut out, and some confetti in the back!

Shaker cards are so fun, so I decided to make one and take advantage of the pre-cut confetti in this stack. (saved my hands from cutting it myself!)

I used this incredible bright blue DCWV FlipSide Cardstock for the card base. You need to get your hands on this stack, the colors are intense and fabulous!

Make sure you keep checking back, I have boxes full of exciting new product to show you!
